[ministry of health] A schoolgirl has been left in a ‘waking coma’, too exhausted to open her eyes or speak, after having a cervical cancer vaccine. Last October and again a month later, Lucy Hinks joined her classmates at school in Wigton in Cumbria to have the HPV jab Cervarix as part of a country-wide programme.
By Christmas, she had visited the doctor several times with flu-like symptoms, tiredness and joint pain.

Seventh graders can now be vaccinated without parents’ knowledge or permission.
Vaccine marketers scored a landmark victory in California in October 2011 when Jerry Brown fetched the stick and signed into law a new bill allowing schools to vaccinate 12 year olds without informing their parents.
That’s right. Kids now choose.
Falling into step with other compliant governors like Rick Perry and WA state’s Christine Gregoire, Brown demonstrated once more his allegiance to the bottomless coffers of the drug industry lobby. Common sense, putting children in harm’s way, running roughshod over parent’s rights, responsible science – not relevant. Seems the world just got a little worse.
There can be no doubt that the underlying motive behind the new law was the promotion of the controversial Human Papilloma Virus vaccine [see HPV chapter] [1].

[Stir photo] When it comes to teens and reproductive health, the official government stance has always been one of willful ignorance: “Teens doing what? Preposterous!Run along now and have a lollipop, that’s a good girl.”
Which is why I find the sudden federal push behind the HPV vaccine Gardasil rather suspect. (Briefly, in case you were in a coma until 5 minutes ago, Gardasil protects against the sexually transmitted human papillomavirus, which is a leading cause of cervical cancer.) First there was the big campaign to make the vaccine mandatory for girls, an initiative that ticked off the GOP in a huge way (for all the wrong reasons, unfortunately).

[teens] Gardasil, the controversial drug that took the early Republican presidential debates by storm, is back in the news as newly unearthed documents reveal 26 additional deaths associated with the shot designed to help prevent young women from getting a sexually transmitted disease that can lead to cervical cancer.
The public-interest group Judicial Watch has obtained the documents through the Freedom of Information Act from the Food and Drug Administration detailing reports of harmful reactions to the vaccination for human papillomavirus, also known as HPV.

[AoA Brown] Oct 20: The fatality of a 14 year old California girl was entered into the VAERS database on August 23, 2011 – 134 days after her death in April. The latest Gardasil victim died of cardiac arrest 14 days after vaccination. According to VAERS report # 430780 , the adolescent was vaccinated on March 28, had no other life-threatening illnesses, and received no other vaccinations.
The VAERS write up includes this statement: “Found dead in bed in a.m. by family. Pathologist stated cause of death as consistent with cardiac insufficiency, due to cardiac arrhythmia, due to probable early cardiomyopathy. Child Death Review Team felt this death was consistent with a diagnosis of sudden cardiac death.”
