[Guttmacher_7_1] The most common reason U.S. women use oral contraceptive pills is to prevent pregnancy, but 14% of pill users—1.5 million women—rely on them exclusively for noncontraceptive purposes. The study documenting this finding, “Beyond Birth Control: The Overlooked Benefits of Oral Contraceptive Pills,” by Rachel K. Jones of the Guttmacher Institute, also found that more than half (58%) of all pill users rely on the method, at least in part, for purposes other than pregnancy prevention—meaning that only 42% use the pill exclusively for contraceptive reasons.

[Gardasil_vaccine] Vaccinating girls for human papillomavirus (HPV) early in life could reduce the need for later screenings, U.S. and Finnish researchers said Wednesday.
“Provided that organized vaccination programs achieve high coverage in early adolescents before sexual debut, HPV vaccination has the potential to substantially reduce the incidence of cervical cancer, probably allowing the modification of screening programs,” Matti Lehtinen from the University of Tampere in Finland told Reuters.

A while back we shared with you some information which the folks at SaneVax uncovered about Viral HPV DNA contaminant found in the Gardasil HPV Vaccine. The aftermath of the discovery of a genetically engineered virus in 100% of the Gardasil vials tested by SANE Vax Inc. has had global governments running and Merck’s marketing department at a loss for words.1 That coupled with Michelle Bachmann’s remarks on not getting her daughters vaccinated with Gardasil at the September 12 Republican Party Tea Party debate in front of millions of viewers – and then stating the next day that she met a mother of a now ‘mentally retarded’ injured girl who had received Gardasil. On October 9 Governor Jerry Brown signed AB 499 into law giving the custody of minors age 12 and over to the State of California for the treatment of STD’s. All three issues have spotlighted Gardasil and have brought negative attention to Merck’s multi-million dollar award-winning creating a market out of thin air ‘One Less’ campaign.

Vaccine marketers scored a landmark victory in California in October 2011 when Jerry Brown fetched the stick and signed into law a new bill allowing schools to vaccinate 12 year olds without informing their parents.
That’s right. Kids now choose.
Falling into step with other compliant governors like Rick Perry and WA state’s Christine Gregoire, Brown demonstrated once more his allegiance to the bottomless coffers of the drug industry lobby. Common sense, putting children in harm’s way, running roughshod over parent’s rights, responsible science – not relevant. Seems the world just got a little worse.
There can be no doubt that the underlying motive behind the new law was the promotion of the controversial Human Papilloma Virus vaccine [see HPV chapter] [1].
