[AoA Needles] In September of this year, SANE Vax Inc. broke the news that 100% of the Gardasil vials tested proved to be contaminated with a recombinant HPV DNA attached to aluminum. The nonprofit organization contracted with a private lab to run the tests at request of informed physician and medical consumers concerned about HPV vaccine safety and efficacy. The laboratory informed SANE Vax Inc. that one hundred percent of the thirteen (13) samples of Gardasil™ taken from lots #1437Z, #1511Z, #0553AA, #NL35360, #NP23400, #NN33070, #NL01490, #NM25110, #NL39620, #NK16180, #NK00140, #NM08120 and #NL13560, currently being marketed in the U.S.A., Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France, and Poland were found to be positive for HPV rDNA.

The aftermath of the discovery of a genetically engineered virus in 100% of the Gardasil vials tested by SANE Vax Inc. has had global governments running and Merck’s marketing department at a loss for words.1 That coupled with Michelle Bachmann’s remarks on not getting her daughters vaccinated with Gardasil at the September 12 Republican Party Tea Party debate in front of millions of viewers – and then stating the next day that she met a mother of a now ‘mentally retarded’ injured girl who had received Gardasil. On October 9 Governor Jerry Brown signed AB 499 into law giving the custody of minors age 12 and over to the State of California for the treatment of STD’s. All three issues have spotlighted Gardasil and have brought negative attention to Merck’s multi-million dollar award-winning creating a market out of thin air ‘One Less’ campaign.

What’s the best way to protect teenage girls from sexually transmitted diseases? Some doctors in Charlotte say the answer is to vaccinate boys.

More than 65 million Americans – that’s one in five – carry a sexually transmitted disease. The most common one – the human papilloma virus, or HPV – affects more than half of sexually active Americans at some point, according to the federal government.

Since 2007, health officials have recommended that adolescent girls get vaccinated against HPV because it can lead to cervical cancer later in life.

What is Gardasil?

Gardasil is the first available vaccine against genital human papillomavirus (HPV), the most common sexually transmitted virus in the United States. There are various strains of HPV. Made by the company Merck Inc., the vaccine protects against HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18 in both males and females (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “Human Papillomavirus”; Cerner Multum, Inc.). Gardasil protects both males and females from anal cancer and precancerous lesions caused by those four HPV types.

Canada Approves Gardasil For Use In Most Women

Less than a month after the FDA refused to approve the Gardasil vaccine for preventing HPV in women ages 27 to 45, Health Canada has gone in the other direction and issued an endorsement. Although Canada is a smaller market than the US, the approval is a notable step for Merck, which has been counting on a larger demographic target to boost sorely needed vaccine revenue.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE In a long awaited decision1 the US FDA has ruled against Merck’s supplemental biologics application license (sBLA) for an indication to use Gardasil [Human Papillomavirus Quadrivalent (Types 6, 11, 16 and 18) Vaccine Recombinant] in women ages 27 to 45. This was Merck’s 4th request to expand Gardasil use to an older population.
