Brilliant interview with Cindy Costanza. This woman so ensconced in the ‘madness’ in the brain – was able to heal herself with micronutrients. Now she is sharing her story of psychosis to ‘happily ever-after’ with as many people she can reach. The interview is posted here – as well as on the Holy Hormones Honey! host page on VoiceAmerica.

After years of dealing with stress, anxiety and symptoms of mental illness Cindy Costanzo assumed her doctors knew what was Cynthia-Gracebest for her. As most people do, she relied on modern day medicine to relieve her symptoms; however that was the beginning of a destructive downhill journey. With a diagnosis of anxiety and depression, she was prescribed anti-depressants that caused her to go into mania and eventually prompted ‘the professionals’ to label her bipolar. After years of trying many different RX drugs, it took its toll and her last mania episode moved her to the darkest depression and suicidal ideation her psychiatrist and therapist had ever seen. Succumbing to the mental torture she eventually tried to end her life and was admitted to the psyche ward at UCFS. Her marriage was in shambles, her children devastated and a happy life seemed impossible.

She continued under the care of a top psychiatrist but felt horrible on the toxic drugs so she sought out a progressive ‘Anti-Aging’ doctor to help her find another way. After he discovered she had a very serious MTHFR gene mutation in her DNA that inhibits the ability to regulate key enzymes and balance neurotransmitters on her own, Cindy finally felt strong enough to pursue a natural alternative, realizing it was  simply a ‘nutritional deficiency’ not a pharmaceutical drug deficiency. She set out to CURE herself and finally shed the stigma of being labeled bi-polar by the very people who caused the damage.

She wanted options that would give her back her dignity and have another choice other than to be forced see her “shrink” every month, feeling degraded as he “patted her on the head reminding her that ‘she had to take the meds for the rest of her life’ and if she didn’t comply it would be back to the psych ward.” According to Cindy, “This is the worst manipulation going on in this country and it has to STOP.”

cindyToday Cindy is living her dream. She just recently founded a non-profit called “Mental Illness Debunked” to educate the public on the dangers of pharmaceutical drugs to treat symptoms that are actually just nutritional deficiencies. She shares her experience with a miracle formula that completely restored her health and is making it her personal mission to help as many people she can have the “option” to heal their brains and restore their God given right of well-being.

Cindy Costanzo is a 56 year old women living in the SF Bay area where she resides with her husband enjoying wonderful times with her 4 children and 7 grandchildren. She has been a Real Estate Broker for 30 years but also has a background in design and construction. She holds a patent on an health and wellness invention and is a consummate entrepreneur. Her lifelong struggle with symptoms of mental illness and her amazing journey back to complete health is the basis of her mission to help others find the same joy and restoration that she did. She is passionate about “debunking” the myths that surround mental illness and the unfair stigma attached to it.
