A leading international vaccine expert is questioning whether a new anti-cancer jab lasts long enough to protect girls from cervical cancer.

Dr Diane Harper said Gardasil, the new vaccine against human papillomavirus (HPV), had not been proven to last more than five years.

Young girls, vaccinated at 12, may therefore not be exposed to the virus until after the vaccine had waned, she said.

Throughout my examination of the Gardasil vaccine, there has been a steady flow of information, disinformation, and new developments. In my opening article, I wrote about the mandatory ruling in July of 2008 by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that would require all female green card applicants and immigrants between the ages of 11-26 to receive the Gardasil vaccine. As of December 14, 2009, that ruling was reversed.

Gardasil has never been tested in young girls under 15 years old, says whistle blower Diane Harper

Once again our children are being used as ‘pharmaceutical laboratory rats’ while Merck rake in the dollars. The Bulletin – Gardasil Researcher Drops a Bombshell – Susan Brinkman reports that the leading expert Diane Harper dropped a huge bombshell on her stunned audience at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination, which took place in Reston, Virginia a few days ago, when she said that not only had there been NO efficiency trials of the HPV vaccine Gardasil, in young girls under 15 she also revealed that 70% of all HPV infections resolve themselves in less than year ‘without treatment’ and 90% in less than 2 years, leaving her audience seriously doubting if there was any real need for young women to be vaccinated for HPV at all. She said that Gardasil will do little to reduce cervical cancer rates. When asked, why she was now speaking out, Dr Harper said:-

“I want to be able to sleep with myself when I go to bed at night.”

Harper: Controversal Drug Will Do Little To Reduce Cervical Cancer Rates

Dr. Diane Harper, lead researcher in the development of two human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix, said the controversial drugs will do little to reduce cervical cancer rates and, even though they’re being recommended for girls as young as nine, there have been no efficacy trials in children under the age of 15.

Dr. Harper, director of the Gynecologic Cancer Prevention Research Group at the University of Missouri, made these remarks during an address at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination which took place in Reston, Virginia on Oct. 2-4. Although her talk was intended to promote the vaccine, participants said they came away convinced the vaccine should not be received.

A couple of weeks ago Lucy Johnson wrote an excellent article in the Sunday Express on the Cervarix vaccine entitled HPV vaccine ‘As deadly as the cancer

In her article she wrote ‘The cervical cancer vaccine may be riskier and more deadly than the cancer it is designed to prevent, a leading expert who developed the drug has warned’ she preceeded to give the views of expert Diane Harper, who had been ,she wrote,’involved in the clinical trials of the controversial drug Cervarix’, Dr Harper had said according the Express, ‘the jab was being “over-marketed” and parents should be properly warned about the potential side effects.

Comment from Leslie

A lot of flurry going on the past few days about the media in the UK – Diane Harper’s “retraction of comments” and some pseudo-journalist named Ben who hides behind a Frankenstein mask on his articles. My colleague the UK shed some light on the whole situation when she brought this article to my attention that appeared in the Feb 25, 2009 blog post on Child Health Safety

…Even a lead researcher for Gardasil’s manufacturer, pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co., now has doubts. “The benefit to public health is nothing,” said Dr. Diane Harper, who helped design and carry out studies to get Gardasil approved. “There is no reduction in cervical cancers; they are just postponed, unless the protection lasts for at least 15 years, and over 70 percent of all sexually active females of all ages are vaccinated.”

Roll up, roll up, get your HPV vaccine and take your chances.

All around the world young women are rolling up their sleeves and taking a gamble with their lives by having either the Gardasil or the Cervarix vaccine. The Governments and Pharmaceutical industries are promising these girls immunity against cervical cancer without warning them of the possible dangers. They continue to get rich, as young girls around the world get sick.

So what are the facts? ICAP International Coalition of Advocates for the People, have been working for several months on these very issues. What they have discovered is almost too frightening to contemplate. The injuries and deaths from Gardasil and Cervarix is almost reaching an epidemic proportion.

Diane Harper involved in the testing Cervarix when GSK conducted safety trials, has very different views and questions the vaccines safety. The director of the Gynaecologic Cancer Prevention Research Group at Dartmouth Medical School, New Hampshire, in the USA, firmly believes more should have been done before the vaccine was implemented. She feels more testing should have taken place to establish to efficiency of Cervarix. She said We can’t tell you it is 100% safe because we don’t know that In five years it will be pretty clear how safe it really is because 70% of adverse events occur within five years. That way we would have a good sense of comfort and you can reassure your population. She states in an email to Freda Birrell an active campaigner in Scotland who has been campaigning for the removal of Cervarix and Gardasil that “The issue for both vaccines (Cervarix and Gardasil) is that it is just as effective if given to young women who are already sexually active, instead of young girls – given the propensity for young girls to still develop their neurological systems, it seems wise to wait until the girls are a bit older. There is no particular reason to go for 11 year olds.”
