Jasmine received her second Gardisil shot on November 18, 2008. After the shot the warts returned as well as the other symptoms Jasmine was experiencing. In addition, she now also felt pins and needles up and down her arms. Her whole arm became so weak she could hardly use it at work and started to knock things over and she would lose her grip at times. I would like to say at this point that the doctor should not have given her the second shot as her immunity was down and because of the warts that occurred after the first shot. In retrospect, a red light should have gone up and tests should have been done first to determine whether giving the second shot was wise.
Now Jasmine started to get headaches, where before she hardly ever had them. She was now experiencing them at least twice a month. She said at times she would get sharp pains in the back of her eyes and that she couldn’t swallow her food and it felt like it was still in her throat which then made her feel sick. On January 28th, 2009 Jasmine went back to the doctors as the warts had returned and she had them frozen off again. Her dry skin problem was still there.
On March 17th, 2009 Jasmine went in for her 3rd Gardisil shot. Her medical record read, “In for 3rd Gardisil. Has been well. Nil concerns post last dose, nil contraindications.”

My heart is breaking for you over your loss. There is no describing the helpless feeling Gardasil has caused many parents. I am scared we are not through the problems of Gardasil for our 16 year old daughter yet. She had her first Gardasil shot in early spring 2008. Later that spring her health issues started. It seemed that every two weeks she had a throat infection (sometimes strep — sometimes not) or a sinus infection. Nothing out of the norm, just a lot of them, so we thought nothing of it. Our daughter is an athlete and has been playing highly competitive Travel Softball for 6 years, and struggled with joint pain for the 1st time that summer as well.
In August of 08 she got her 2nd booster, right before school started. Although she had been training and regularly running 6 to 8 miles day –with extreme ease, she found herself struggling to keep up in Cross Country. She had trouble breathing and would become dizzy and increasingly vomited during practice. Because she was still struggling with regular throat and sinus infections, we just thought she was sick and run down. 1 month into it, she was diagnosed with Mono and was unable to finish the season. Her Mono was severe and lasted over 3 months. Her liver and spleen were enlarged and she ran non stop high fevers, and was extremely fatigued. Early spring they tested her for several auto immune diseases, because she was sick all the time, but everything came back fine. By June of 09, she was starting to feel better, but still had throat and sinus infections, requiring antibiotics every 3 or 4 weeks.
On Aug 24, 2009, she received her 3rd Gardasil shot and her life went down hill from there. Within a month she started complaining of severe headaches, stomach aches and back pain, which she never had before. Her periods became extremely heavy and came every 2 weeks and she started having trouble sleeping. Her insomnia, abdominal pain and headaches got worse and she continued to get throat infections. My daughter now spent 80% of her time in bed exhausted and yet was up pacing most nights, with arm and leg twitches and tremors. She was missing school several days a week, taking antibiotics for her throat all the time. She complained about being exhausted and having pains in her stomach and back all the time, and although the doctors could identify something was wrong with her throat, they could never find a reason her body was in pain. She stopped going out and no longer answered friend’s calls. She became combative, moody and withdrawn. At the end of December, it was decided that we needed to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. She had a severe reaction to the narcotics and spent 2 weeks vomiting and unable to hold food down. It was now March and my A/B student had missed over 30 days of school and seeing a psychiatrist. It was time to go back, and three days into she collapsed. The doctors diagnosed her with severe depression and anxiety and pulled her out of school. She missed her entire high school softball season and is still working to finish the semester with a homebound tutor.
After being home for 2 weeks, she started running unexplained low grade fevers, still vomited and still had severe headaches, back and abdominal pain. The psychiatrist agreed, something is physically wrong. We took her back to her doctor, and he now identified that her immune and nervous systems were impacted by Gardasil. Although he doesn’t know what it did or how to reverse the effects, he agrees her health was severely impacted and declined with each Gardasil booster. He has filed a VAERS (?) with the FDA, indicating her adverse reaction to the vaccine and has referred us to an adolescent disease specialist, hoping they can figure out what to do.
Our daughter was a bright, vibrant, active girl before Gardasil. We thank God every day it has not taken her life, but we still fear it has changed it forever.
There is a portion of the population who suffer similar enough issues after taking the vaccine, which tells you it is unsafe for the masses. I hope no one else will have to lose their daughter before the FDA re- evaluates this vaccine.
Thank you for your post. We are working as hard as we can to alert the public about this dangerous vaccine. Many of the mothers are working with detox chiros, and neurologists – have put their daughters on gluten-free diets and have cleaned up their diets as much as possible. Please stay in touch and let me know if you need more information or resources.
