Vaccine also has ruined my daughter’s life

Thank you so much for the story about Gardasil vaccination (“Local couple questions Gardasil’s safety,” Feb. 7). My daughter Jessica had the vaccination shortly after it was introduced in 2006.

She has been sick ever since. That is over three years later, and she is still suffering adverse side effects.

We have spent literally thousands of dollars trying to find out what is wrong. Only this past year did we put the connection to the onset of her problems to Gardasil. She has missed out on so much fun that she should have been enjoying during her college years.

What are we looking into now? We are looking into the possibility that at age 21 my daughter’s body is going through menopause. Another thing happening is that girls as young as 15 are discovering they have cervical cancer.

Please visit These stories are just a tip of the iceberg. Please please try to do whatever you can to continue to get the word out.

Please read the comments – mine included. There is still a lot of ignorance about vaccines and a lot of educating to do.
