Is the Smog in China Affecting Women’s Hormones?

Holy Hormones Honey! – There is more to this story.  This young woman suffering from an extreme hormone imbalance kept her abnormal growth of thick, black hair to grow – all over her body hidden from her husband until they were married. The man lived with her condition for two years until he learned she was infertile.  This is a very sad story for both.

For the woman – the shame, grief and disgrace of having this abnormal growth of hair – and then being rendered infertile.smog in china
For the man – the shock of finding out about this growth on their wedding night.

But the question is – what is going on in the environment in China – what plastic, toxins with androgen mimicker are causing such a severe imbalance?  What is in the smog?

If this is happening to one woman – others are also being afflicted.  Of course, we have no idea if the man was infertile.
Singapore is on the verge of a population decline since infertility rates are skyrocketing.

Changning District People’s Court has granted a man’s request to divorce his wife for hiding a medical condition that left her infertile, local media reported Sunday.

The plaintiff, Shao Tian, sued his wife for divorce recently after a medical exam determined she was unable to bear children due to a hormone imbalance, according to a report in the Youth Daily.

Under a court mediated agreement, Shao agreed to pay his wife, Zhan Meili, 300,000 yuan ($49,600) in exchange for her share of their apartment.

Zhan was entitled to a 20-percent ownership stake in the apartment in the divorce because her name was on the property deed, said Wang Xiaying, a court press officer.

It was unclear whether Shao sued because he just wanted a divorce or because he wanted a divorce and full ownership of the apartment.

Shao met Zhan through his mother’s colleague, the report said.
