Young Living Progessence Plus for Hormone-Related Anxiety

Progessence Plus is USP-grade, super-micronized progesterone from wild yam blended with essential oils and vitamin E to help women find balance the way nature intended. Specifically formulated by D. Gary Young, ND, and Dan Purser, MD, Progessence Plus maximizes the effects of progesterone by utilizing an innovative delivery system. The first-ever progesterone serum on the market, this essential oil-infused product enhances substance penetration through the skin and contains pure frankincense, bergamot, and peppermint essential oils.

Progessence Plus is portable, has a pleasant smell, and does not require the cycling of application sites like other progesterone supplements. The product’s clear bottle showcases the purity of this unique serum formulation.

Primary Benefits
• Naturally encourages the body’s optimal balance*
• Is portable, better smelling, and absorbs more quickly than other progesterone supplements
• Does not require cycling of the application site.

• Menstruating females over the age of 12
• Pre- and postmenopausal women

I have read a lot of women use this while trying to conceive . Is that true?

Yes, it may be true. Women need progesterone to ovulate - as well as to maintain the uterine lining to prevent heavy monthly bleeding as well as to prevent miscarriage. Since most of us are estrogen dominant - we do not have the progesterone needed to be in ratio with the other reproductive hormones. The essential oil is homeopathic so it may take some time to work in the body. Some women feel adverse reactions if they are suffering from PMS or PMDD. However, that usually evens out in a month and the oil will also help with both.

      Hope this helps.

      Hormone regards,

      Leslie

Vicki - that is a good question and I do not know the answer. I would contact Young Living and find out. I have not been actively marketing this product - since many women have had some temp homeopathic adverse reactions before they started feeling better.

Can this be mixed with face lotion and used on the face? Why only neck and forearms? A friend suggested this to help my 18 yr old daughter’s acne.

Hi, Diana - Never mix an essential oil with any face cream I would do more research on progessence plus and and acne - instead of believing what your friend said - even with good intentions. There are different types of acne. I do not have enough information to make any more suggestions.

      Hormone regards,

It may. So will micro-nutrients. Not enough information to go on here.
      What has your research shown?

If you have a health condition - you need to consult with a doctor. Fortunately, I can recommend Dr. Michael Platt, http://plattwellness.com. He is a progesterone expert. Fill out his contact information with your question and he will respond via email or even a phone call. He is a wonderful man.

A friend suggested I use Progressence Plus to help reduce heavy bleeding during my periods. Does this oil actually help? I have hypothyroidism, would this oil counteract with my synthroid?

It would be hard to me to know the answer to that.
I would talk with your health care provider.
Also ask your provider about using natural progesterone cream.
Your friend might be right by suggesting you might be progesterone deficient because of the heavy bleeding.

      Hormone regards,

      Leslie
