Holy Hormones Honey! The Greatest Story Never Told!
Living with the cycles of the lunar phases is crucial to your health and well being. For menstruating women understanding where you are in your cycle in relationship to where the moon is in its cycle is empowering.
Instead of feeling that you have to control your self, emotions, image, a new paradigm will come into play where you will understand why you feel the way you do and begin to trust your emotions; understand your health; understand and work with your low energy and high energy times- and learn how to use those times for your benefit.
Women entering peri-menopause need to acknowledge the irregularity in their cycle and understand that as their own reproductive cycle is beginning to wane, the lunar cycle is becoming the stronger cycle in their life.
The lunar cycle is the governing force for women in menopause.
Cycling with the moon is the dance of this universe.
If we were aware of the importance of the lunar cycle in our lives - as cultures were in the past, we would understand that upon birth we- just like all life forms on this planet cycle with the moon.
Then nature in all its grace and beauty bestows upon women the ability to create and nurture life.
When a young girl begins to enter puberty* her own body is developing its own hormonal rhythm for pre-creation. It can take many years for a young girl to have a regular hormone cycle. The more she is aware of and lives with the cyclical changes in her body - and honors those rhythms she will have a more regular cycle.
Because women are not taught about this crucial knowledge, by the time they reach mid-life they become endocrinally exhausted from living cycle after cycle; month after month; year after year against the natural rhythms of the body. Exhaustion leads to chronic fatigue which over time leads to many pathological, mental and emotional imbalances as the body no longer has the strength or energy to maintane homestasis.
Every cell in our body cycles. Being unaware of that cycle; not understanding that their is a time to give (waxing moon) and a time to receive (waning moon) disrupts the body’s regulatory system eventually leading to imbalance and disease.
This is the Greatest Story Never Told.
